International Expansion

In 2012, the third Shanghai International Modern Teapot Art Biennale came as scheduled. Ceramists from five continents once again gathered in Shanghai, reconnecting through the art of the teapot and renewing their artistic fellowship.

Deeply rooted in Shanghai's fertile creative landscape, the exhibition brought together the diverse thoughts and inspirations of international artists, using teapot art as a vessel for profound humanistic sentiments. The success of this edition further advanced Shanghai's development as a "City of Design" and reinforced its standing among global creative centers. This retrospective is offered with sincere gratitude to all participants and supporters.
